Coach Charlotte I help managers establish a "success" mind-set by identifying and enhancing self & relationship awareness by using Emotional Intelligence (EI) competency assessment profile.After years working in the corporate financial services industry, as a V.P. Manager with two major financial institutions and as a Director of Project Management ...... I gained valuable experience managing profit centers. As a profit center manager, I was responsible for the management of large revenue and expense budgets. This meant I was given budgets and expected to deliver on those budgets in a specific time frame. As I "learned the ropes," as they say, I was able to develop and execute the skills needed to achieve those performance requirements and advance my career as a leader.I was an innovator and I constantly sought ways to improve my departments' bottom-line. I wanted excellent performance evaluations. I learned, as a manager of others, that I could not make improvements alone; so I developed the management skills to empower and encourage my staff to make improvements; I noticed when my staff was motivated, achievement was possible. Leadership is the most important skill a manager can develop. Along with my University of San Francisco BA degree in Organizational Behavior, this experience inspired me to leave the corporate world, take the skills I developed and begin working with small businesses through the USA and Australia. Understanding the "power" inherent in empowerment, I used my coaching skills to help owners and managers analyze problems, develop plans, implement those plans, and most importantly, groom their leadership skills. As a Certified Emotional Intelligence (EI) Coach, I use EI principals in my management coaching to help individuals and owners build leadership and teamwork awareness skills, which directly impact how the office is managed to grow revenue and reduce costs. Also, as a community and adult education instructor, and workshop leader, I help individuals from all walks of life, employed, retired, and unemployed, become aware of Emotional Intelligence and how to enhance their EI competencies to grow personal and professional relationships, and reduce the physical by-product of stress. So coaching and instructing for me, allows me to help individuals change personal and professional behaviors for a happier and healthy life.
